Bramblewood is a very welcoming comfortable cottage
which, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dishwasher makes an ideal holiday base for
a family or up to six adults and a toddler. It's a single-storey detached cottage, having
a large garden, from the rear of which you can glimpse the sea.
The self-catering cottage is particularly suitable for bringing along
extra guests, such as grandparents, or friends, as there are two
bathrooms, so there are no hold-ups getting out in the mornings to enjoy
the wonderful Cornwall countryside and beaches.
Ideal for asthma and allergy sufferers, it is non-smoking
and does not accept pets.
New for 2008!
In order to make the cottage even more suitable for those with
allergies, all the carpets have been replaced with hard flooring ready for the 2008 season.
In the cottage you will find:

- 3 bedrooms:- 2 doubles and a large twin room.
- A large open plan lounge/dining area with TV (with
digital stations),
Video, DVD player & CD/radio/tape mini hi-fi.
- Adjoining fully equipped
kitchen with new dishwasher, oven and ceramic hob, plus
fridge-freezer, microwave, etc.
- Bathroom with full suite, including full
sized bath and electric shower
- Additional Cloakroom with a second shaver point
- Tasteful furniture and decoration,
with prints by local artist Harry McConville
- A selection of videos, audio tapes, DVD's,
CD's, games and masses of books
for both adults and children
- A pine cot, (or travel cot if preferred), highchair
and bed-guard if requested, free of charge
- Large landscaped gardens with a BBQ in the secluded side
garden,
and plenty of garden furniture.
- A private gate from the garden through to the
meadow,
and across to the play area.
- Rear and side gardens enclosed and gated
to prevent toddlers escaping!
- Allocated parking space close by.
- Storage heating in all rooms, so its warm all year for ‘out of season’
breaks

We
frequently use the cottage ourselves, and have tried to provide
extra touches that ensure you'll have a great
holiday. The above (left) photo shows Bramblewood's
large front terrace, and the photo on the right is the view looking down towards the central area of Trevalgas, and
shows the proximity of the parking.
All
of Bude's sandy
beaches
are clean, safe and patrolled by lifeguards in summer. Choose a different beach each day, (Sandymouth, Northcott Mouth, Summerleaze, Crooklets
and Widemouth) and enjoy walking, surfing, body boarding, investigating the rock pools, or building
sandcastles. Afterwards return for a swim in the heated pool, or enjoy a
barbeque and relax in Bramblewood's secluded and tranquil garden.
We are pleased that 25% - 30% of our guests each year have stayed with us
in the past. However we are never complacent, and each year look for ways
of improving the cottage. In the last year we have installed a new
dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob and lighting, as well as enclosing the rear
and side gardens with gates to stop toddlers escaping! Please see our
