Beautiful site, small enough to be private, yet not isolated. Everything provided for (unusually so, ie kitchen roll, loo rolls, salt, pepper, dish cloth) so great when you arrived. New oven excellent, grill and hob very responsive - liked it.Gardens gorgeous and peaceful. Very, very well organised booking - Katherine efficient, helpful and friendly, and online booking form a wonderful idea. All went so smoothly it was excellent. Thank you.

Really enjoyable Xmas and New Year stay in Bramblewood Cottage - v comfortable and warm. Our best day was Padstow, picturesque harbour and interesting shopping with more than a smattering of Rick Stein influences! Bude an interesting town, of many parts! All in all a great two weeks!

We had a good stay. We found everything we needed in this home very well equipped – especially for our twins aged 2½ years!
They loved the pool – what a luxury - usually had it to ourselves. As for the other folk we loved beaches especially Northcott – very quiet… Crackington Haven – good cakes in tea shop. All in all v nice week.

The highlight of the week has got to be seeing dolphins leaping and playing just off shore in Widemouth bay.
We hired bikes from Bideford and followed the Tarka trail, lovely flat route with superb countryside views We have enjoyed body boarding on every beach, hired a kayak at Tamar Lakes, went to Lydford Gorge and Hartland Quay.
Ate at 'Life's a Beach' - fantastic seafood with lovely views over beach at Summerleaze.

This was a return visit to the Bude area for our family after an absence of more than ten years. It has lost none of its earlier appeal! We have always loved the canal and walking out to the breakwater to watch the waves and surfers near at hand. A rowing boat on the canal and crazy golf are an essential part of the experience.
Bramblewood has been an ideal base with all possible creature comforts. We have appreciated breakfasting on the terrace. The swimming pool has been a daily destination for those of us who aren't into cliff-top running. The bright flowerbeds, numerous butterflies and flocks of house martins circling overhead have been a delight.
All things considered it is hard to imagine 'a more congenial spot' for a family holiday.

Great cottage and really well equipped.The children loved the swimming pool which they used everyday even though they'd been in the sea every day!
The field was good for our games of cricket and rounders matches. Thank you.

A beautiful cottage within a beautiful setting. All the family enjoyed it very much.The Milky Way was a real plus point. I would choose a dry day to get the most out of it.
The little Post Office was handy for morning papers etc. The swimming pool was used every day - it was fantastic. Thank you.

I just wanted to thank you for another wonderful holiday - the children said they would much prefer to go to Trevalgas than go abroad, and they have been on the go non-stop (think we need another week to recover)!!

We had a lovely holiday and the cottage was great.
The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. Louise loved all the videos - especially Sooty!
We will certainly recommend the cottage and look forward to visiting ourselves in the future.

The cottage warm and homely. Boys had fun in the pool and playing pool and table tennis. All had fun at the local beach and looking around shops and local attractions.

We have had a wonderful week, even though my 6 month old daughter had an ear infection! The local doctors' surgery was brilliant - they saw us really quickly and the pharmacy was contained in the surgery.
We had a great day out at Padstow - purchased crab lines and caught a few in the harbour which the boys loved.
Went to a beautiful rugged beach - Hartland Quay - really stunning coastline and the boys loved it as there was sand, rocks and big waves, what more could boys want! OK for 3-wheeled pushchair too.
Thank you Katherine for all your efficient help beforehand and the cottage was well stocked with everything you need for a family.

We have had a great week here, and have been out and about everyday.
We have 15 year old girl/boy twins and each of them brought along a friend, so entertaining four 15 year olds had seemed a bit daunting! However they loved being here.
They had surf lessons with 'The Big Blue' and did tons of body boarding - even catching sight of Gwyneth Paltrow on more than one occasion!
We found the cottage to be so well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Thank you so much for everything.

The gardens were probably at their peak for the year.
Bramblewood was very well equipped, and had everything we needed - and more.

We enjoyed the holiday very much and the weather was excellent.
It has renewed our faith in self catering after some bad experiences. Our daughter, grandson and son-in-law also enjoyed it very much and I am sure that some time in the future we or they shall use Bramblewood again.

Great to have the extra facilities on site - we used the pool every day - the kids loved it.
The play area was also used regularly - the 8 yr old had lots of fun.
Lovely location - we very much enjoyed the cottage and the surroundings.

I am sure we will make the return trip to Trevalgas at some point as it is a lovely place and the children loved the pool, especially my disabled son as it was very therapeutic for him.
Each time we went , we were the only ones there, so we had lots of space, and the water was so lovely and warm.

As usual we had a great time.
Loads of places to visit, including Tintagel, Crackington Haven, Clovelly, and St Michael's Mount. Mevagissey and Polperro are worth visiting and Padstow is great. Try the speedboat, but take some waterproofs!
We had a great two weeks and are going home at least 1/2 stone heavier!

Thanks....we had a great time on holiday. Bramblewood is lovely - it had everything we needed.
We went to the Eden project, Looe, (lovely ride in a glass bottomed boat), and introduced the kids to surfing, mainly at Widemouth.

Enjoyed our stay - especially the use of the dishwasher!
Crooklets beach was great for the children - sandy beach, rock pools, good facilities (cafe clean & good variety, toilets clean).
We recommend Tamar otter park - great for the little ones.

First visit to Bramblewood. Facilities good, pool has been well used. Thank you for good, clean accommodation. Otter Sanctuary, Morwellham Quay and Eden Project represented good value. Best fudge from the shop next to Boots in Bude

We found the cottage extremely well equipped and spacious. It was clean and well kept with plenty of books, games, videos etc to keep the children occupied.
We have really enjoyed the stay and as usual don't want to go home!

We had a really enjoyable week here at Bramblewood.
The cottage was very comfortable and the extra equipment really helped. It was a fabulous way to spend New Year and get away and relax.

Found plenty to occupy ourselves and a two year old with several good parks- Brocklands and Crealy's in particular.
This made a very enjoyable break. We wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend.

The cottage was very cosy and had everything we needed to keep ourselves amused. The swimming pool and games room were a hit with the two older children (4 & 7 yrs)
M Richings, Aug 04We all had a great time. Very comfortable in the cottage and have enjoyed the pool.
We used the BBQ twice, and were able to sit in the garden until 9.30pm.
The boys have had a great time at the Big Blue Surf School, and we have worn ourselves out walking the various sections of the coast path between Bude and Crackington Haven J Knight July 04.
It's really one of the best cottages we've stayed in.
Don't know how you can bear to leave it! Went for lots of strolls and enjoyed the views.

Bramblewood a very homely cottage equipped with all we needed. Everything thought of- even a blank video tape.
Lovely garden and we enjoyed the swimming pool.
Did lots of walking.... enjoyed Morwenstow, Duck Pool and the canal walk at Bude.

We had high expectations of the cottage and we were not disappointed, as it is so well equipped. I would recommend Crooklets beach for body surfing.
The waterslides and F1 racing karts were great at Kilarney Springs

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bramblewood.
This is our third time in Cornwall and our second time to this complex.
Everyone loved the pool and games room and it was nice to let the children into the play area for some freedom!
Couldn't fault the cottage- we have been made to feel so welcome.

Visited Eden project, Clovelly, Boscastle and Tintagel: all very quiet and a pleasure to walk around.

An excellent relaxing week with our 3 boys (15, 13, 11) who really enjoyed the pool for swimming and the games room.
The beaches were great - lots of interesting walks. There's a great walk from Bude across the cliffs to Northcott Bay.

We've had a lovely week at Bramblewood, and would like to say thank you for providing such comfortable and well equipped accommodation. By far the best we have used.
The site is wonderful and very thoughtfully planned - the garden delightful. The canal walk in Bude peaceful and relaxing. Will be back, and will recommend Bramblewood to friends and family.

An excellent relaxing holiday. The beaches were amazing- great for surfing and rock pooling.
We made excellent use of the Bramblewood library which has a wide selection to cater for all needs.

The cottage is of a very high standard, which is the reason why we returned, after first visiting 3 years ago.
The fencing segregating each cottage makes it 100% better - with the fabulous weather we have had a really enjoyable holiday.
